We are seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to provide 12-hour shift coverage in a busy Emergency Department in Everett, PA. Physicians must be willing to work any shift as needed (7 AM --- 7 PM or 7 PM --- 7 AM), with the possibility of picking up mid-level shift coverage if necessary. In this role, the physician will provide comprehensive emergency care, treating a wide range of acute and critical conditions. Responsibilities include managing airways through intubations, performing chest tube placements, inserting central lines, conducting joint and fracture reductions, and performing joint aspirations. Additional duties involve laceration repairs, incision and drainage (I&D), and other emergency procedures within the scope of an Emergency Medicine residency-trained physician. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, making quick clinical decisions, and collaborating with a team to provide high-quality patient care. Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Osteopathic Emergency Medicine Completion of an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency Active Pennsylvania medical license Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, CPR, PALS, Stroke Certification Located in Bedford County, Everett is a charming rural town with a strong sense of community and easy access to outdoor activities.
