DescriptionTerrapin is looking for a Wellness Associate to join our
growing company. As a Clinton County, Penn.-based cannabis company,
Terrapin is a pioneer in the emerging industry. Terrapin is a
cultivator and processor of high-quality medical and recreational
cannabis products with plans to open a retail footprint in
Pennsylvania. With over 15 years of industry experience, Terrapin
was licensed to operate in the Pennsylvania marketplace in 2017,
growing to more than 135 employees. Retail expansion plans in
Pennsylvania have created a need for a Wellness Associate. Wellness
Associates are the face of the Medical Marijuana Industry that
represent the mission and the goals of Terrapin Care Station while
providing superior customer service and maintaining a level of
product knowledge to meet the needs of the patient, while providing
an education on the safe consumption of available products. They
are also responsible for knowing the laws that govern a legal sale
of marijuana in a medical setting to ensure that the business is
operating within the confines of compliance. They are the last
people in the seed-to-sale chain of production who have the task of
delivering products while giving the customer the best experience

A customer service professional,
greeting all patients in a warm, sincere and helpful
mannerConsistently delivers the ultimate customer experience in all
facets from patient entry to exit; ensures each patient receives
full attention during their transactionAssists patients with
choosing the right products according to their ailmentsEnsures
orders are fulfilled efficiently with 100% accuracy at all
timesAbides by product handling procedures, including company
safety and health policies as well as regulatory agency
complianceChecks patient IDs and conducts transactions at
POSRemains upright on their feet, particularly for sustained
periods of time, up to 88% of the work dayMoves about on foot to
accomplish tasks to meet customer/patient needsHelps keep the store
clean and tidy, including sweeping and moppingProvides customer
education about products and usesWorks with leadership to
understand company goals and proceduresOther duties as assigned by
management Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Must be able to pass state-mandated
background checks and successfully complete the Department of
Health's 2-hour training courseMust be organized and maintain a
neat and clean work stationAbility to work in a fast-paced
environment, to manage high stress situations, and to be flexible
and adaptable when a situation requires itMust be able to perform
simple mathMust be willing to learn about new products and
cannabinoidsMust be aware of and abide by all laws and compliance
surrounding retail operationsMust possess a willingness to learn
the effects and applications of concentrates and other THC infused
productsExperience in the use of cannabis with a willingness to
learn strain genetics, including their properties and effectsIs
familiar with Windows, Microsoft Office and Google DriveMust be
able to operate the point-of-sale system and maintain accurate cash
handling practicesMust have 1-year of cash handling experienceMust
